Well, it's been a while... again. Now, I'm 6 months pregnant and trying to get back on the blogging bandwagon:)
I thought I would start with a baby room update, considering baby stuff is kind of taking up a lot of my time and energy lately.
Oh, and the gender reveal! We'll save that one for next time, though:)
For starters, this is the room we chose to transform into the baby room. Keep in mind, this is the "before" picture. Awful, I know. It used to be my sewing room, and let's just say I'm a messy crafter! Needless to say, we had to clean the room out and make some adjustments.

We chose green and teal for our nursery colors before we even knew the gender, because we wanted it to be somewhat gender neutral. Then, my husband decided to take on chevrons! I was thrilled, of course, because I love all the pictures I see on pinterest with a chevron wall. So, Brandon and his brother Jeremy went to work!
And, that's all of the room I can show you for now... It's almost complete, with furniture and all! But, I am waiting to do the true Before and After pics until we have the final touches with a few last accessories. Oh, and trust me - it looks great!
In the mean time, here are a few fun things we've purchased along the way! Brandon and I decided we would buy something fun for the baby every month, with a limit of $50. If we went under one month, we could add it to the following month and vise versa. It's been fun - can't wait to buy our 7 month item in a couple of weeks! When it comes to the bigger items, we just had to budget for those. We weren't quite lucky enough to find a crib and changing table for $50:)
